Wire Wrap
To meet the needs of heating and of baking out conventional vapor transport lines, SMI has developed a flexible and reusable line heater for operation up to 100C – the example shown at right, with 1/4” line wrapping’s, provides RT to –100°C depending on ambient conditions.
Insulated Sleeve Heating
For higher temperature line heating, SMI uses a combination of heater tapes and insulating sleeves. An example application is the heating of the phosphorous system exhaust line, as shown in the images.
