SMI designs all of its systems and components using Solidworks™ CAD modeling, AutoCAD™ documentation and design, and other supporting tools. The designs are vigorously tested through flow and thermal modeling as well as with stress simulation software. SMI works with customers to best determine flow and temperature conditions for their tools or components. This procedure is standard on the purchase of any custom tool or component. In addition, customers can have SMI experienced engineers design and model components of their choice as a general service.
