CE
The CE Marking directive (93/68/EEC) was adopted on 07-22-1993. All Electric- and Electronic equipment that will be sold, or put into service for the first time, anywhere in the European community must carry the official CE Mark. The CE Mark proves to the buyer -or user- that this product fulfills all essential safety and environmental requirements as they are defined in the so-called European Directives.

Structured Materials Industries, Inc. states that it's products sold in Europe fulfill the requirements to carry the CE Mark and do indeed carry the CE Mark.                                                                                              
 
RoHS
Directive 2002/95/EC of the, commonly known as Restriction of Hazardous Substances. RoHS, describes the restriction of use of specific hazardous materials found in electrical and electronic products. All applicable EU market products must pass RoHS compliance in after July 1, 2006.
